Buy 2, Get 1 Free

Pick three. Pay for two.

There's no end date on it. No code to remember, no countdown, and no catch that isn't written down on this page.

Any three qualifying items
Mix and match across the range, capsules and tinctures alike, or the same product three times. See everything that qualifies.
The lowest-priced one is free
Shopify takes the lowest-priced qualifying one-time item off. Pick three at the same price and any one of them is the free one.
Quantity counts
Three one-time units of one product work exactly the same as three different ones. Your cart shows the free unit on its own line.
It repeats every three
Six qualifying items, two free. Nine, three free. There's no cap. The free ones are always the lowest-priced one-time items.
Subscriptions count, but are never the free one
A subscription item helps you reach three. The free item is always a one-time item, so three subscriptions on their own get nothing free.
Applied in your cart
No code needed. Once it applies, you see the free item and the saving in your cart before you check out.
Product and order discount codes don't combine with it
Once Buy 2, Get 1 Free applies to your cart, Shopify ignores a product or order discount code. With fewer than three qualifying items, a code works as normal. Shipping codes that are set up to combine can still apply.
Delivery is separate
Free UK delivery is its own thing: it's free from £50, and the cart shows how close you are.

How the rule works

In your cart	Free
Three different one-time items	The lowest-priced one
Three one-time units of the same product	One of the three
Four or five qualifying items, at least one one-time	One (the lowest-priced one-time item)
Six qualifying items, at least two one-time	Two (the two lowest-priced one-time items)
Nine qualifying items, at least three one-time	Three (the lowest-priced one-time items)
Two one-time items and one subscription	The lower-priced one-time item
Three subscriptions	Nothing

These are examples of the rule, not price calculations.

Your cart always shows exactly what Shopify has taken off. If it isn't in the cart, it isn't applied.

Add 3 puts three of one product in your cart in one go.

Add 3 puts three in your cart in one go, and the lowest-priced one-time item comes off.

Build your three

Any three qualifying products, the same one three times if you like. The lowest-priced one-time item is free, applied in your cart.

How it works

Choose any three qualifying products, the same one three times if you like. Buy 2, Get 1 Free applies to one-time purchases and is worked out in your cart: the lowest-priced one-time item is free. With other items in your cart, Shopify works out the free items across everything, so your cart decides which. Subscriptions count toward three but are never the free item; set them up on the product page.
